The verdict:
There is no need to sit at the same distance from speakers to assess the unity of the sound.
It is not even the depth that is important here, but the details of each note and very dynamic and sharp sound. And with this, the Red 120 SE is perfect.
The violin also sounds natural, not the easiest instrument to play.
The speaker show exactly what the sound engineers recorded – either the foreground in full width, or, having disappeared, they place the music in the center of the stereo stage. No chances to interpret the picture on your own.
Generally, the Red 120 SE sound is above all expectations – with such dimensions and a modest caliber of the bass, the dynamics and lower register can surprise even an experienced music lover.
